Can I get a tattoo if I'm under 18?

I am not accepting clients under 18 (even with a parental consent form) at this time. To verify your age, please bring a valid photo ID with your name and birthday to your appointment.

Can you REFUND my deposit?

Deposits are non-refundable and are handled through the shop. Exceptions to the non-refundable deposit policy are handled on a case-by-case basis via the shop.

Can I see my design before the appointment?

The design will be provided to you at the appointment; this way, any changes can be communicated and visualized clearly in-person. If you would like to see your design before the day of the tattoo, let me know and I can schedule a time for you to come by the studio to see the design/make changes.

What styles do you do?

I like to take an "all styles" approach to tattooing; however, I am not currently taking on projects in the following categories: Micro-Realism, Single-Needle

Can you draw up the tattoo before I book an appointment to make sure I like the design?

Because custom tattoo designs take a significant amount of time and are created specifically for each client, I don’t create full designs before a booking is confirmed (= appointment date set and $100 nonrefundable deposit paid).

If you’re unsure about setting an appointment, we can do a (free) in-person consultation first to go over your ideas, references, placement, and overall vision to make sure I am a good match for your tattoo project! There is no obligation to book an appointment if you choose to do a consultation — the consultation is just an opportunity to discuss your tattoo idea and decide whether or not you’d want to move forward with working on it together.

If you do decide to book an appointment, we will set an appointment and put down a $100 nonrefundable deposit to confirm it. (Information about the deposit policy can be found here.) Once a deposit is placed, I’ll create a custom design for you, and you’ll be able to see it before the appointment and request adjustments if needed.

If you want a design but aren’t ready to book, I do offer design commissions for a reduced fee (i.e., costs less than a deposit). If you decide to move forward with the tattoo, that fee can be applied toward the final cost of the tattoo.

What are your prices?

My minimum is $175. Single-session pieces are priced by the piece (flat rate). Multi-session pieces are priced hourly ($200/hour rate). If you are working within a certain price range, please let me know your budget prior to confirming the appointment so I can let you know whether or not I am able to do the tattoo within your budget.

What if I want to change my design?

Change requests to the tattoo design must be made with sufficient notice.

  • For those with design viewing appointments, changes can be requested (1) up to 48 hours before your design viewing appointment, (2) at your design viewing appointment, and (3) up to 48 hours before your tattoo appointment.

  • For those viewing the design the day of the appointment changes can be requested (1) up to 48 hours before your tattoo appointment.

Failure to give sufficient notice of design changes may require setting a new design viewing appointment and/or tattoo appointment and new deposit.

If you have set a design viewing appointment, design changes will be discussed then and ready the day of your tattoo appointment. If you are seeing the design the day of the appointment, changes will be discussed and made the day of the appointment.

Significant changes, including changing the tattoo idea, style, scale, color, etc. may require setting a new design viewing appointment and/or tattoo appointment.
